Why Childcare?

I have always had a love for kids. Being able to guide and assist them into growing and developing into life long learners is so rewarding and fulfilling. They are all unique in their own ways and I want to help them express and find themselves in all areas of development.

Why Giggles?

Giggles is my baby. I started my traineeship here 7 years ago where I learnt all I need to know. I hope to bring a positive vibe and difference to the centre, while also growing within myself professionally and personally. Watching children explore, learn and do things for the first time is so rewarding, you get to watch their whole life light up.

Why Childcare?

Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to teach. I began doing volunteer work in childcare centres during my high school years. From school I went straight into studying. I love having the opportunity to educate young minds but also knowing that each day they teach me something too! I feel a sense of achievement when the children leave us for big chool, knowing we have done all we can to prepare them for this next stage of their life. My passion lies in teaching and watching the children learn and mentoring the educators to provide a high quality program that challenges the children.

Why Childcare?

I chose childcare as I have always had a passion for children since a young age. I enjoy walking into a room and have their faces light up when they see me. I feel we have one of the most important jobs in the world – teaching the children of tomorrow. It is my goal to provide exciting, stimulating and engaging activities for the children to learn through play. Watching the children learn and grow over the time I spend with them is so rewarding.

Why Giggles ELC?

I love working at Giggles as I have a passion for early education and feel privileged to be teaching the children of tomorrow. Giggles allows me to teach children in a fun, stimulating, engaging and loving environment.

Why Childcare?

My favourite part about working in childcare is watching children learn, the way they think and solve problems amazes me every day! Babies make huge leaps and bounds in their learning every day, and I love celebrating with them when they reach some of their big milestones.

Why Childcare?

No two days are the same. Each day brings a new challenge. I feel privileged coming in every day to 40 little smiling faces, with the opportunity to care for each and every one of them.

Why Childcare?

I chose childcare as i always wanted to give back to the community what previous educators taught me during my early years. I use my personal experiences to shape my teaching and i also use theorists such as Piaget, Erikson and Vygolbia to understand children and their behavior. Working in childcare allowed me to better myself as you have to learn new skills that you won’t necessarily use in your daily life. I enjoyed working alongside parents and have a great bond/relationship with them as they are the primary caregivers. I use the knowledge that i have acquired in childcare in my daily life by helping other people.

Why Giggles?

I chose to come and work at Giggles ELC as their philosophy and approach matches mine. It was easy to adjust and adapt due to the welcoming staff and parents. Giggles has demonstrated that it is possible to find a workplace where you feel supported and happy.
